Simulating a glowing fireplace

David Capper wrote a simply fantastic blog post detailing how he took a long string of WS2812B LEDs and an RP2040 and turned it into a glowing fireplace simulation. The post details his work on black body radiation and has some interactive bits showing how the ember simulations work.

I have an unused Raspberry Pi Pico W sitting around (which is powered by the RP2040) - I wonder if I'd be able to duplicate his project...
